US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2012 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the US citizen voting-age population was 215,144,520 and represented 69.60% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (23.07M), followed by Texas (15.89M), and Florida (13.21M).

In terms of percentages, West Virginia had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (78.41%), followed by Maine (78.11%), and Vermont (77.99%).
