Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for Nebraska was 1,406,030 and represented 71.52% of the total Nebraska population.

Among all Nebraska counties, Douglas had the highest citizen voting-age population (404.19K), followed by Lancaster (238.66K), and Sarpy (137.59K).

In terms of percentages, Hooker had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (83.74%), followed by Thomas (83.20%), and Wheeler (82.17%).
