Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for California was 902,495 and represented 3.91% of the total California citizen voting-age population.

Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (609.09K), followed by Alameda (137.98K), and San Bernardino (117.98K).

In terms of percentages, Solano had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (15.94%), followed by Alameda (14.21%), and Los Angeles (10.66%).
