Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the citizen voting-age population for Massachusetts was 4,748,170 and represented 71.89% of the total Massachusetts population.

Among all Massachusetts counties, Middlesex had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.06M), followed by Worcester (578.39K), and Essex (532.51K).

In terms of percentages, Barnstable had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.19%), followed by Hampshire (79.54%), and Berkshire (79.11%).
