Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 913,605 and represented 19.28% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (341.77K), followed by Davidson (124.94K), and Hamilton (49.14K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (52.09%), followed by Haywood (49.80%), and Hardeman (39.76%).
