Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen population for Florida was 17,531,970 and represented 90.55% of the total Florida population.

Among all Florida counties, Miami-Dade had the highest citizen population (1.97M), followed by Broward (1.56M), and Palm Beach (1.20M).

In terms of percentages, Baker had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.45%), followed by Wakulla (99.21%), and Bradford (99.09%).
