Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen voting-age population for California was 23,881,290 and represented 62.74% of the total California population.
Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest citizen voting-age population (5.93M), followed by San Diego (2.10M), and Orange (1.93M).
In terms of percentages, Amador had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (81.12%), followed by Tuolumne (80.83%), and Trinity (80.61%).
