Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 925,430 and represented 13.19% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (208.97K), followed by Wake (136.23K), and Guilford (118.23K).

In terms of percentages, Bertie had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (61.10%), followed by Hertford (59.07%), and Northampton (57.01%).
