Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 925,430 and represented 19.34% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (346.72K), followed by Davidson (127.33K), and Hamilton (49.79K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (52.50%), followed by Haywood (49.69%), and Hardeman (40.42%).
