Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 935,440 and represented 19.37% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (350.71K), followed by Davidson (129.93K), and Hamilton (50.31K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (52.92%), followed by Haywood (49.73%), and Hardeman (41.04%).
