Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the citizen voting-age population for Nebraska was 1,341,015 and represented 71.28% of the total Nebraska population.

Among all Nebraska counties, Douglas had the highest citizen voting-age population (372.22K), followed by Lancaster (220.84K), and Sarpy (119.74K).

In terms of percentages, Hooker had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (85.08%), followed by Rock (83.63%), and Wheeler (81.99%).
