Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 945,515 and represented 25.98% of the total Alabama citizen voting-age population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (206.12K), followed by Mobile (104.87K), and Montgomery (95.21K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (81.95%), followed by Greene (79.38%), and Lowndes (72.90%).
