Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for California was 945,515 and represented 3.85% of the total California citizen voting-age population.

Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (623.16K), followed by Alameda (136.29K), and San Bernardino (123.52K).

In terms of percentages, Solano had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (15.45%), followed by Alameda (13.10%), and Lassen (10.96%).
