Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 2,546,550 and represented 35.35% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Wake had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population (468.03K), followed by Mecklenburg (387.32K), and Guilford (216.30K).

In terms of percentages, Clay had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (98.20%), followed by Yancey (97.03%), and Ashe (97.00%).
