Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen population for Florida was 18,407,385 and represented 90.77% of the total Florida population.

Among all Florida counties, Miami-Dade had the highest citizen population (2.07M), followed by Broward (1.63M), and Palm Beach (1.26M).

In terms of percentages, Baker had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.49%), followed by Wakulla (99.22%), and Bradford (98.88%).
