Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Alaska was 1,276,885 and represented 178.75% of the total Alaska citizen population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (14.51K), followed by Fairbanks North Star (3.95K), and Matanuska-Susitna (1.04K).

In terms of percentages, Anchorage had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (5.07%), followed by Aleutians West (4.89%), and Fairbanks North Star (4.04%).
