Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Idaho was 1,276,885 and represented 79.97% of the total Idaho citizen population.

Among all Idaho counties, Ada had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (4.26K), followed by Canyon (845), and Elmore (685).
