Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the citizen voting-age population for Massachusetts was 4,931,670 and represented 72.64% of the total Massachusetts population.

Among all Massachusetts counties, Middlesex had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.11M), followed by Worcester (599.70K), and Essex (555.80K).
