US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2017 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the US citizen voting-age population was 226,926,205 and represented 70.69% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (24.97M), followed by Texas (17.51M), and Florida (14.46M).

In terms of percentages, Maine had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (79.32%), followed by Vermont (79.00%), and West Virginia (78.75%).
