Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2017, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 952,790 and represented 26.09% of the total Alabama citizen voting-age population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (207.60K), followed by Mobile (105.45K), and Montgomery (95.56K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (82.01%), followed by Greene (79.19%), and Lowndes (72.98%).
