Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Iowa was 967,605 and represented 41.69% of the total Iowa citizen voting-age population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (18.11K), followed by Scott (8.16K), and Black Hawk (7.62K).

In terms of percentages, Black Hawk had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (7.67%), followed by Jefferson (7.24%), and Scott (6.38%).
