Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 967,605 and represented 12.88% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (241.23K), followed by Wake (155.58K), and Guilford (132.16K).

In terms of percentages, Bertie had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (60.69%), followed by Hertford (59.13%), and Edgecombe (57.85%).
