Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Tennessee was 967,605 and represented 19.28% of the total Tennessee citizen voting-age population.

Among all Tennessee counties, Shelby had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (362.55K), followed by Davidson (135.89K), and Hamilton (51.83K).

In terms of percentages, Shelby had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (54.38%), followed by Haywood (51.00%), and Hardeman (40.96%).
