Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Washington citizen population was 7.04M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (5.02M) and constituted 71.26% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (790.61K) and constituted 11.23% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (475.20K), constituting 6.75% of the total citizen population.
