Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population for Illinois was 165,780 and represented 1.39% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population (1.07M), followed by Kane (128.91K), and Lake (124.44K).
