Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population for Illinois was 173,605 and represented 1.46% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Hispanic or Latino of All Races citizen population (1.08M), followed by Kane (132.64K), and Lake (126.92K).
