Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Hawaii citizen population was 1.34M. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (467.10K) and constituted 34.80% of the total. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (302.62K) and constituted 22.54% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Two Or More Races ethnicity group had the third highest (285.95K), constituting 21.30% of the total citizen population.
