Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Kentucky citizen population was 4.39M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (3.73M) and constituted 84.82% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (338.00K) and constituted 7.69% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (155.85K), constituting 3.55% of the total citizen population.
