Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Rhode Island citizen population was 1.02M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (758.25K) and constituted 74.24% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (147.45K) and constituted 14.44% of the total.
