Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Missouri was 1,311,185 and represented 21.72% of the total Missouri citizen population.

Among all Missouri counties, St. Louis had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (237.87K), followed by Jackson (159.23K), and St. Louis city (124.14K).

In terms of percentages, St. Louis city had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (44.06%), followed by Pemiscot (25.03%), and St. Louis (24.74%).
