Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen population for New Hampshire was 1,361,352 and represented 97.60% of the total New Hampshire population.
Among all New Hampshire counties, Hillsborough had the highest citizen population (407.38K), followed by Rockingham (313.47K), and Merrimack (153.73K).
In terms of percentages, Carroll had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.55%), followed by Sullivan (99.49%), and Belknap (99.22%).
