Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Iowa was 3,247,938 and represented 104.64% of the total Iowa citizen population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (371.92K), followed by Linn (190.99K), and Scott (135.95K).

In terms of percentages, Lucas had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (96.96%), followed by Grundy (96.84%), and Davis (96.57%).
