According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the birth rate for Illinois was 12.22. Alexander County had the highest birth rate (15.36), followed by Peoria County (14.64), and Kendall County (13.94). On the other hand, Pope County had the lowest birth rate (7.01), followed by Putnam County (7.02), and Schuyler County (7.51).
