According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2016, the birth rate for Minnesota was 12.73. Nobles County had the highest birth rate (18.56), followed by Mahnomen County (17.61), and Watonwan County (15.35). On the other hand, Aitkin County had the lowest birth rate (6.58), followed by Koochiching County (7.72), and Kanabec County (8.43).
