According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2014, the birth rate for New Mexico was 12.6. Curry County had the highest birth rate (18.81), followed by Lea County (16.74), and McKinley County (16.39) On the other hand, De Baca County had the lowest birth rate (6.32), followed by Catron County (6.73), and Harding County (7.25).
