According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2018, the birth rate for New Mexico was 11.08. Curry County had the highest birth rate (16.68), followed by Lea County (15.03), and Roosevelt County (14.15) On the other hand, Harding County had the lowest birth rate (3.01), followed by Catron County (5.09), and De Baca County (7.8).
