According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the number of births for Iowa was 38,790. Polk County had the highest number of births (7,008), followed by Linn County (2,794), and Scott County (2,153) On the other hand, Adams County had the lowest number of births (45), followed by Audubon County (57), and Ringgold County (59).
