The US Census Bureau estimated that the Black or African American Alone population in Georgia was 3,191,232 in 2014, and represented 31.69% of Georgia's 10,071,204 population in 2014. Fulton County had the highest number of the Black or African American Alone population (443,787 residents), followed by DeKalb County with 400,807 residents, and Gwinnett County with 235,532 residents. Towns County had the smallest number of the Black or African American Alone population (113 residents) in 2014.
