Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, the Black or African American Alone population in Utah was 49,214 and represented 1.50% of the total Utah population (3,283,785).

Among Utah counties, Salt Lake County had the highest number of people who identified as Black or African American Alone (27,001), followed by Utah County (5,536), and Davis County (5,177). Piute County had the lowest (3).
