According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 23,631 people who identified as Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone in New Mexico, which was 1.12% of the total New Mexico population.

Bernalillo County had the highest number of people who identified as Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (7,569), followed by Doña Ana County (2,626), and Santa Fe County (1,689). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: De Baca County (6), Harding County (7), and Catron County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, Mora County had the highest percentage (2.15%), followed by McKinley County (2.11%), and Rio Arriba County (1.97%).
