According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 11,500 people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in South Carolina, which was 0.23% of the total South Carolina population.

Richland County had the highest number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (2,077), followed by Greenville County (1,057), and Charleston County (852). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Allendale County (10), Calhoun County (11), and Bamberg County (14).
