United States Census 2020 Hispanic - Black or African American Alone Population By State

According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 1,163,862 people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in the United States, which was 0.35% of the total US population. This number is the population from the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

New York had the highest number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (227,150), followed by Florida (119,329), and California (117,758). On the other hand, the three states with low number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Vermont (385), South Dakota (401), and Montana (407).
