According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 65,628 people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in New Jersey, which was 0.71% of the total New Jersey population.

Essex County had the highest number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (10,966), followed by Hudson County (8,113), and Camden County (5,974). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Hunterdon County (144), Sussex County (230), and Cape May County (262).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Cumberland County had the highest percentage (1.43%), followed by Essex County (1.27%), and Camden County (1.14%).
