According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, among New Jersey population of 9,288,994 people, 55.04% (5,112,280) identified their race as White Alone, 13.13% (1,219,770) identified their race as Black or African American Alone, and 11.29% (1,048,641) identified their race as Some Other Race Alone.
