According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 57,046 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone in Minnesota, which was 1.00% of the total Minnesota population.

Beltrami County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (9,198), followed by Hennepin County (8,016), and St. Louis County (4,305). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Fillmore County (7), Murray County (9), and Lac qui Parle County (10).
