According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 5,978,795 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in California, which was 15.12% of the total California population.

Los Angeles County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (1,474,237), followed by Santa Clara County (753,399), and Orange County (699,124). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Sierra County (7), Alpine County (12), and Modoc County (61).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone, Santa Clara County had the highest percentage (38.91%), followed by San Francisco County (33.67%), and Alameda County (32.13%).
