According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 747,280 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in Illinois, which was 5.83% of the total Illinois population.

Cook County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (408,691), followed by DuPage County (118,982), and Lake County (58,901). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Alexander County (6), Calhoun County (7), and Scott County (11).
