According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 134,302 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in Tennessee, which was 1.94% of the total Tennessee population.

Shelby County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (27,960), followed by Davidson County (27,660), and Williamson County (12,879). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Hancock County (1), Clay County (5), and Van Buren County (10).
