According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 357,764 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Kentucky, which was 7.94% of the total Kentucky population.

Jefferson County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (167,067), followed by Fayette County (47,501), and Christian County (15,221). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Robertson County (6), Owsley County (11), and Jackson County (12).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Fulton County had the highest percentage (22.00%), followed by Jefferson County (21.34%), and Christian County (20.92%).
