According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 7,472,751 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone in Illinois, which was 58.32% of the total Illinois population.

Cook County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone (2,135,243), followed by DuPage County (591,441), and Will County (418,418). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - White Alone were: Pulaski County (3,245), Alexander County (3,274), and Hardin County (3,374).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identify as Non-Hispanic - White Alone, Jasper County had the highest percentage (96.20%), followed by Edwards County (95.98%), and Scott County (95.92%).
